Where are my ChatGPT models?

OpenAI retired several older models from ChatGPT on February 13, 2026. If your ChatGPT model options look different, here's what happened.

OpenAI retired GPT-4o, GPT-4.1, GPT-4.1 mini, o4-mini, and GPT-5 (Instant and Thinking) from ChatGPT. These model options are no longer available in the model selector. GPT-5.3 is now the default for all conversations and projects.

Your AIPRM prompts still work. They run on GPT-5.3 Instant and GPT-5.4 Thinking now instead of the models you picked before.

Old conversations and projects now default to the closest GPT-5.3 Instant and GPT-5.4 Thinking and Pro equivalent. Outputs may differ when continuing these conversations since they run on a different model.
